An extensive presence of chronic rising damp was observed across all assessed regions, accompanied by the plaster exhibiting significant hygroscopic characteristics. The prevailing conditions were marked by elevated humidity levels, potent odors, and pervasive mold growth. Consequently, the strongroom and storage areas were deemed unsuitable for the occupancy or storage of organic materials such as paper.

IMPLEMENTED SOLUTION
Total of 3x DriWay DW-5 devices strategically placed in different locations as follows:
- 1x DW-5 device was installed within the cavity of the false ceiling and ceiling slabs, positioned in front of the entrance to the director’s office.
- 1x DW-5 device was installed in the passageway of the southern side strongroom.
- 1x DW-5 device was positioned adjacent to the entrance of the garage.
Total of 1x Omnisense Gateway installed:
- 6bc6a4da placed inside the G7 strongroom and was set up to receive data from the M1 and M2 test points
- The installation also involved the placement of 4x white sensor probes, comprising 2x S2 black boxes, at the M2 test point within the G7 strongroom.

RESULTS POST IMPLEMENTATION
Since the installation the effectiveness of the DriWay solution has surpassed all expectations and successfully achieved and exceeded all key performance indicator (KPI) milestones within the first month. The notable improvements include:
- Immediate and significant enhancements in indoor air quality ionization, with an initial improvement of 11% within the first two hours.
- Substantial reductions of air particles, including bacteria, with over 94% reduction observed within the first month.
- Continued reduction in moisture levels within internal walls and decreased condensation levels, indicating the progressive drying out of the building’s core. Real-time reporting confirms this ongoing trend.
- Noteworthy decrease of over 15% in absolute humidity levels within the air during the first month.
Real-time monitoring will persist to ensure continuous evaluation of the system’s performance.
